Hong Kong, June 17 2009 – Global Water Engineering Ltd. (GWE) recently hired several senior people at key management positions.

Global Water Engineering has grown strongly over the last years and has seen its sales increase 10-fold in as little as 2 years time.  Despite the current financial and economic crisis, the outlook is bright with order books well filled for the year ahead.

To support this growth curve, GWE recently strengthened its Project Management and Execution Department by hiring 5 experienced professionals from the water sector.

“Despite the shortage of highly qualified personnel in the market, we managed to hire top executives coming from the international water scene” says Jean Pierre Ombregt, CEO and Chairman of Global Water Engineering.

Daniel Ausloos, recently joined the company as Executive Vice President Project Execution and will be leading the Project Execution Department.
At the same time his Team has been strengthened with Joris Van Heck, Jos Coelmont and Herman Huygh, 3 Senior Project Managers who will be deployed over GWE’s major geographical markets.

Eddy d’Joos recently joined GWE in the position of O&M Manager.  He will be heading the Operations & Maintenance Department which is expanding its range of services to offer remote plant monitoring, supporting clients and GWE operators.  This new approach is highly sought after by clients for plant performance optimization which translates in higher revenues and savings from biogas and GHG emission reductions.

These 5 appointments combine more than 60 years of solid technical and project management experience at major water projects around the globe.
